The Director, Artificial Intelligence will lead the division's AI-driven value creation agenda, using AI as a strategic business lever to drive measurable revenue growth, margin expansion, productivity gains, and compliance strength. This is a business leadership role, not a technical specialist position. The role partners closely with commercial, operational, and functional leaders to identify, deploy, and scale AI initiatives that deliver tangible financial impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and deliver annual AI-driven EBITDA improvement targets. Build and manage a prioritized AI value portfolio aligned to divisional strategy. Build AI literacy and adoption across leadership and functional teams. Identify AI-enabled growth opportunities across pricing, products, services, and installed base monetization across the Division. Lead AI-enabled automation and process improvements across operations and SG&A. Scale proven AI use cases across business units to drive sustained performance. Ensure AI initiatives comply with enterprise governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory standards. Establish measurable adoption and accountability standards. Manage external AI partners and vendors to accelerate time-to-value while minimizing risk.
Success Measures:
Sustained EBITDA contribution from AI initiatives. Embedded AI-enabled workflows across commercial and operational functions. Increased adoption and scalable, repeatable use cases. Reduced operational friction and strengthened compliance discipline.
Qualifications:
Required:
10+ years of experience in business leadership, operations, product management, analytics, or technology-enabled transformation. Proven ownership of financial outcomes (revenue growth, cost reduction, margin expansion). Experience prioritizing investments and leading cross-functional initiatives. Working knowledge of AI, advanced analytics, and modern digital platforms.
Preferred:
Experience deploying AI or analytics solutions in an enterprise environment. Experience managing external technology vendors. Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or engineered product environments. Experience operating within enterprise governance frameworks. Deep technical model-building expertise is not required; the role requires strong AI fluency and business judgment.
Leadership & Work Environment:
This role may have supervisory responsibility and operates in a professional office environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
