The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with proven experience developing and implementing AI strategies that drive operational efficiency, enhance decision-making, and create measurable business value. This leader will collaborate across departments to identify opportunities for innovation, oversee AI initiatives from concept to execution, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. The successful candidate will have experience leading cross-functional teams, managing AI-related projects, and translating complex technical concepts into practical business solutions. The successful candidate will have experience leading cross-functional teams, managing AI-related projects, and translating complex technical concepts into practical business solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and leading the company's AI vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives. Evaluating business processes and identifying opportunities for AI-driven improvements and automation. Leading the selection, implementation, and governance of AI technologies and solutions. Translating complex business challenges into AI-enabled solutions that deliver measurable ROI. Partnering with Finance, Operations, Sales, HR, and other functional leaders to support strategic business decisions through data analytics, predictive modeling, and AI insights. Establishing AI governance, ethical standards, risk management practices, and regulatory compliance. Managing AI-related budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments. Building and leading cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. Monitoring emerging AI technologies and assessing their applicability to business growth and operational excellence. Presenting recommendations and business cases to executive leadership and the Board as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology, analytics, data science, AI, or digital transformation. Demonstrated success leveraging AI and advanced analytics to improve business outcomes and support executive decision-making. Strong understanding of machine learning, generative AI, predictive analytics, data governance, and AI risk management. Exceptional business acumen with the ability to align technology investments with strategic objectives. Experience leading enterprise-wide change initiatives and cross-functional teams. This position is often a blend of technology leadership, business strategy, and operational decision support, making it particularly valuable in organizations seeking to integrate AI into core business processes and executive decision-making.
