  • so they can spend their time with patients, not paperwork. We have real traction, customers across the US, and an ambitious roadmap. This is a category-defining opportunity in a massive, underserved market. The Role As Founding Engineer, you will own the technical foundation of Scribble
  • the architecture, the hard calls, the engineering culture. You will work directly with the CEO, with clinicians, and with customers. You are the kind of engineer who sees a complex problem and gets energized, not overwhelmed. You think in systems. You ship. You care about the user as much as the code. And you understand that at this stage, speed and quality are not opposites
  • they are both required. What You'll Do Architect and own the full-stack platform
  • frontend, backend, infrastructure, and AI pipelines Build and deploy AI agents that automate clinical documentation workflows end-to-end Design backend systems built to scale from hundreds to thousands of production users Work directly with clinicians and agency operators to translate real workflow pain into product decisions Act as the technical product owner
  • driving roadmap, prioritization, and trade-offs alongside the CEO Establish HIPAA-compliant architecture, security standards, and engineering practices from day one Move fast
  • ship to real users, get feedback, iterate, repeat Hire and mentor the engineering team as we scale What We're Looking For Required 7+ years of software development experience True full-stack capability
  • you own frontend, backend, database, and cloud infrastructure without needing to hand off Claude Code is already part of how you work, not something you are learning You have scaled backend systems to thousands of production users and know what breaks at scale before it breaks Product-centric
  • you hold the technical and the user experience simultaneously and make decisions that serve both Lean by default
  • you build the right thing at the right scale, and you don't need a big team to do it Strong communicator
  • you can explain a complex architectural decision clearly to a non-technical audience Based in Greater Philadelphia region Strongly Preferred Experience in health tech
  • EHR integrations, clinical workflows, HIPAA-compliant system design Familiarity with home health, skilled nursing, or post-acute care operations Prior founding engineer or early-stage startup experience Hands-on work with agentic AI systems and LLM-powered workflows Tech Stack Our current stack
  • you should be comfortable here and have opinions about: Node.js; React Native; AWS; Claude Code and agentic workflows What We Offer Equity
