Job Description

Technology related duties: Assumes responsibility as District Technology Coordinator. Facilitates technology implementation district wide. Oversees the State Aided hardware budget. Oversees the State Aided software budget. Prepares and completes eRate filing and reporting. Coordinates the completion of the district technology plan.
Chief Information Officer related duties:
Assumes responsibility as Chief Information Officer (also referred to by NYSED as District Data Coordinator). Supervises the Registration Office. Manages the Registration Office Secretary "Registrar". Facilitates enrollment and residency procedures. Responsible for mandated State data reporting. Assists with the coordination of district-wide assessments. Facilitates the use of the district's student management systems. Coordinates and facilitates district data team meetings. Assists with certification of district data by the Superintendent. Attends sessions, meetings and other title related trainings provided by the Regional Information Center, New York State Education or third-party provider. Utilizes an effective means of communication of district data related information to district personnel. Serves as the district's liaison between the district and Regional Information Center related to title. Seeks opportunities to develop professional knowledge and expertise in the areas related to title. Conduct teacher and ancillary staff evaluations. Any other related duties as many assigned by the

Additional Job Information :
1. A valid New York State SDA/SDL certificate. 2. A minimum of three (3) years classroom teaching experience. 3. Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral. 4. Strong interpersonal relationship skills. 5. Such modifications to the above as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Superintendent of Schools and/or the Assistant Superintendent for School Improvement Initiatives.
