  • Connected Systems & Data Infrastructure
  • Enable data sensing, acquisition, and analytics across the value chain to improve productivity, quality, and predictive capabilities.
  • Establish data standards and governance frameworks for smart factory systems.
  • Develop digital twins and simulation capabilities for process optimization.
  • Architect and integrate end-to-end digital thread across ERP, MES, EBR, LIMS, and automation layers (PLC/SCADA).
  • Ensure regulatory-compliant digital data flows (e.g., batch traceability, audit trails, and electronic signatures).
  • Advanced Analytics & AI
  • Enable predictive problem identification and performance optimization using real-time and historical data.
  • Deploy machine learning models and analytics solutions to improve operational outcomes.
  • Lead development and deployment of agentic AI systems capable of autonomous decision-making in manufacturing (e.g., self-optimizing processes, adaptive scheduling, intelligent deviation management).
  • Implement AI-driven co-pilot systems for operators and engineers to enhance decision-making, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Digital Operations & Execution
  • Identify and deploy digital capabilities to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
  • Lead evaluation and management of digital software applications across manufacturing systems.
  • Manage a portfolio of digital transformation projects aligned to global objectives.
  • Oversee full lifecycle implementation of MES/EBR programs including requirements definition, system configuration, validation (CSV), and site rollouts.
  • Drive adoption of paperless manufacturing and real-time release capabilities.
  • Governance, Community & Collaboration
  • Establish and sustain digital governance across the manufacturing and distribution network.
  • Collaborate with vendors, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Ensure training, adoption, and change management across sites.
  • Establish and lead a Digital Manufacturing Community of Practice (CoP) across global sites to drive knowledge sharing, standardization, and scaling of best practices.
  • Facilitate regular forums, workshops, and capability-building sessions to accelerate digital maturity across sites.
  • Define standards for scalable, reusable digital architectures and ensure alignment across global sites.
  • Success Metrics
  • Number and scale of digital transformation initiatives delivered.
  • Adoption rate of digital systems across the value chain.
  • Measurable impact on productivity, quality, and cost performance.
  • Successful deployment and adoption of MES/EBR across multiple sites.
  • Quantifiable impact of AI-driven automation and autonomous decision systems on operational KPIs.
  • Engagement and effectiveness of the Digital Manufacturing CoP (participation, reuse of solutions, speed of scaling).
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience leading digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong background in project and program management for complex technical deployments.
  • Deep expertise in MES (e.g., SepaSoft) and Electronic Batch Records systems.
  • Experience implementing validated systems in regulated environments (e.g., GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Experience with / Interest in AI/ML and emerging agentic AI applications in industrial or manufacturing contexts.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience working with senior manufacturing leadership and plant operations teams.
