Job Description

AI Transformation Lead Department:
IMO Transformation Employment Type:
Permanent -
Full Time Location:
Boston, US Description Location - North East United States inc. Boston and Pittsburgh (Hybrid or Remote) Why Confluence? At Confluence, we've always been driven by a commitment to innovation, precision, and partnership in the investment data space. Our global footprint now spans multiple countries, giving our employees the opportunity to get exposure to other countries and cultures. And it stands to reason that none of this would have been possible without the hundreds of hard-working employees who work at Confluence. More about the role & team The AI Transformation Lead is responsible for driving the delivery and adoption of the organization's AI agenda, focusing on where it can make a genuine commercial and operational difference. Working closely with senior leaders across Client Experience, Sales, Finance, HR, Legal and Operations, the role is about identifying the opportunities that matter most and seeing them through from early pilots into everyday use. This is a hands‑on role with high visibility across the business, sitting between business teams, technology and risk. Success is measured through revenue impact, efficiency improvements and lasting behaviour change, with the right governance and operating discipline in place to ensure AI can be scaled safely and responsibly. What skills and experience do I need to succeed? You'll succeed in this role if you combine enterprise‑level transformation experience with the ability to turn AI capability into real commercial and operational outcomes. We're looking for someone who brings: 8+ years' experience in transformation, change leadership, consulting, or digital enablement roles, ideally within B2B SaaS, FinTech, or regulated services environments A practical understanding of GenAI, copilots, automation, and workflow redesign from a business and operating‑model perspective (you don't need to be an engineer) Proven experience identifying high‑value AI use cases, taking them from pilot through to scaled, embedded adoption A track record of linking technology adoption to revenue activation, delivery efficiency, or decision‑making improvement Advanced capability in driving adoption and behaviour change, including communications, training, coaching, and impact measurement Confidence working across Sales, Client Experience, Finance, HR, Legal, Risk, and Technology, and translating between technical and non‑technical stakeholders Experience establishing AI guardrails, usage policies, and risk controls in partnership with Legal, InfoSec, and Compliance The ability to influence senior leaders, navigate competing priorities, and build trust across distributed teams A bachelor's degree in business, transformation, information systems, behavioural science, or a related field is required; a master's or MBA is preferred. Certifications such as Prosci, Scrum, PMP, or equivalent are beneficial. What do we offer? This is a high‑impact, enterprise‑level role with genuine influence over how AI is embedded across the organisation. In return, we offer: A visible, business‑critical mandate to shape how AI is operationalised across core revenue‑generating and client‑facing functions The opportunity to work directly with senior business leaders on initiatives that materially affect growth, efficiency, and decision‑making Ownership end‑to‑end — from defining the AI roadmap and prioritising use cases, through to delivery, adoption, and measurement The chance to build AI capability that is scalable, governed, and trusted, rather than experimental or siloed A role that builds long‑term career capital as an enterprise AI and transformation leader A collaborative, cross‑functional environment where outcomes matter more than hierarchy Competitive compensation and benefits aligned to senior leadership impact (details shared during the process) Confluence offers generous benefit packages for team members. As a growing, global organization, we are always looking for ways to ensure that our employees can access benefits that matter to them and their families.
This includes:
