Collins Aerospace is seeking an Associate Director, Avionics Change Lead to help drive some of the most critical change initiatives shaping the future of our Avionics business. In this high‑visibility, business‑facing role, you will partner closely with the Avionics Chief of Staff and Transformation Director and Avionics senior executives to guide teams through complex, enterprise‑level transformation. From digital modernization to operating model evolution, you will influence strategy, accelerate adoption, and ensure teams are equipped to deliver on our transformation vision. We're looking for a dynamic change professional with strong consulting experience, excellent program management capabilities, and a proven ability to make change stick across complex, technical, and highly regulated environments. What You Will Do:
Serve as a strategic change partner to the Avionics Transformation leadership team, enabling successful execution of key enterprise and business‑level initiatives Act as a trusted change consultant to Avionics leaders, providing insights, recommendations, and strategic direction Drive cross-functional change efforts across the Avionics organization, including digital transformation, process redesign, and organizational realignment Assess change readiness across engineering, program, and functional teams, identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies Translate transformation goals into actionable change roadmaps, communication plans, and measurable outcomes Partner with the Enterprise Change Lead to oversee execution of the Avionics change plan, ensuring alignment to transformation milestones and proactively identifying activation risks Foster a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Avionics business Up to 25% Travel may be required Build and lead a high-performing team by: Creating an engaging work environment and strategically deploying employee strengths to deliver results Hiring and coaching employees to high performance, supporting career development and recognizing development and success achievements Holding self and team accountable to goals and performance standards
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience 3+ years of direct experience in enterprise change management, consulting, transformation, or equivalent roles Previous people management experience (hiring, performance management, salary planning, etc) Experience leading process and systems change efforts within complex, global organizations, ideally in technology, aerospace, manufacturing, or engineering-driven environments

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
