Association Executive (TEAM Division) Lead. Influence. Make an Impact Across Communities. Join our Total Excellence in Association Management (TEAM) Division as an Association Executive and play a pivotal role in guiding multiple nonprofit, trade association partners toward success. About the Role As an Association Executive , you will serve as a trusted advisor and operational leader for a portfolio of client partner organizations. You'll collaborate closely with each association's Board of Directors to ensure alignment with their mission, vision, and strategic priorities—while leading a high-performing team that delivers best-in-class daily operations and service. This is a dynamic, high-impact role where no two days are the same. You'll balance strategic oversight, client relationship management, and team leadership—all while ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction. What You'll Do Serve as a strategic partner to association Boards, guiding governance, decision-making, and long-term planning Lead day-to-day management of multiple client partner associations, ensuring operational excellence Oversee and coach a diverse team of association professionals and, when applicable, third-party contractors Manage client relationships across a portfolio of associations, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and growth Translate Board direction into action , executing on policies, priorities, and initiatives Ensure accountability and impact , helping organizations remain relevant and responsive to their communities Foster strong collaboration between client partners, TEAM Division staff, and internal stakeholders What You Bring Proven experience in nonprofit and/or trade association management Background as an Executive Director or in a senior leadership role within an association or association management company Demonstrated success managing multiple clients or complex accounts simultaneously Strong leadership experience with the ability to inspire, direct, and develop teams Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with experience working with volunteer boards A strategic mindset with the ability to balance big-picture planning with operational execution Why Join Us?
