Job Description

This role is accountable for design and implement S/4 for effective internal controls - including Sarbanes Oxley and segregation of duties. This role will serve as the primary Finance representative for Internal Controls transformation activities, driving alignment across Finance, Controllership, and cross-functional stakeholders while partnering closely with Information Technology to define, prioritize, and deliver functional and technical requirements. You will work out of our Charlotte, NC, Atlanta GA, or Houston, TX location on a Hybrid work schedule. This is a highly visible role with end-to-end ownership of process design, validation, governance, and deployment for key Record-to-Report capabilities relating to process controls.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Serve as the Finance functional lead and single point of accountability for
SAP S/4HANA
Internal Controls. + Partner closely with Finance, Controllership, and business stakeholders to define requirements, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure process alignment to enterprise objectives. + Collaborate with Information Technology and SAP technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, compliant system solutions. + Drive design validation through testing, issue resolution, and defect prioritization to ensure solution quality and operational readiness. + Establish governance mechanisms and decision-making frameworks to manage design trade-offs, scope changes, and deployment risks. + Assess and prioritize current and future process requirements, ensuring alignment with broader Finance transformation goals. + Support organizational readiness and adoption through documentation, stakeholder engagement, and transition planning. + Serve as a visible leader across executive and project governance forums, providing clear updates, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • YOU MUST HAVE
  • + Demonstrated functional expertise across SAP Finance modules.
+ Minimum 10+ years of progressive Finance and/or Accounting experience within large, complex global organizations. + Strong expertise in internal controls, audit, and accounting. + Experience working within Agile delivery methodologies and leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives. + Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting principles, and enterprise reporting requirements.
