Job Description

Description:
Lead strategic, profitable growth for Digital Solutions globally by helping customers solve complex challenges in safety, regulatory compliance, and software-intensive systems. Focus on enterprise software solutions that integrate AI and cybersecurity to support regulated industries for example, assessing how automotive software updates impact vehicle safety and regulatory compliance. Drive modernization of legacy systems, innovation in next-generation platforms, and business development while building high-performing teams and fostering a winning culture. This role has a strong business development component, including partnerships, M&A, and expanding service offerings in AI, cybersecurity, and digital solutions for safety-critical industries. This is a high-impact Director-level opportunity for a dynamic leader to shape digital solutions in testing, inspection, certification, and highly regulated industries.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Growth:
Define and execute the global vision and strategy for Digital Solutions. Identify growth opportunities, develop innovative service portfolios (including AI-enhanced process management tools), and establish technology/alliance partnerships.
Financial & Operations:
Contribute to global P&L performance. Oversee delivery models, continuous improvement initiatives, and efficient operations that balance quality, cost, and customer needs. Provide leadership on major business challenges.
Business Development & Customer Engagement:
Build relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Lead "deep dive" engagements with complex clients (particularly in automotive and other regulated sectors), attend industry events, and drive new business.
Organization & People Leadership:
Build and develop high-performing teams (0-8 direct reports). Implement organizational changes, talent strategies, and a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Collaboration & Representation:
Partner across regions and functions in a matrix environment. Present strategies to senior leadership, incorporate feedback, and represent the business externally.
Requirements:
Senior leadership role with direct P&L accountability. Extensive background in modernizing legacy systems, securing critical infrastructure, or building next-generation digital platforms. Proven experience in cybersecurity, AI, software/digital solutions, and enterprise platforms for safety/regulatory compliance. M&A exposure and experience with complex customer solutions and products. Track record of building strong teams and driving significant organizational change. Understanding of Product Management, software lifecycle, and consulting methodologies (preferred).
