Junior Programmer

Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Junior Programmer to join our team and assist in the design, development, testing, and support of desktop and web-based applications that interface with SQL Server databases. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional to grow their technical skills while working alongside experienced developers. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, development, and testing of applications using Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio Support both desktop and web-based applications Work with end users to understand basic requirements and provide support Troubleshoot and resolve application issues with guidance from senior team members Participate in ongoing improvements and enhancements to existing systems Document processes, code, and application functionality Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 0-2 years of programming or relevant internship experience Basic knowledge of: Microsoft SQL Server Microsoft Visual Studio or similar development tools Strong willingness to learn and grow in a development environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Exposure to database development or web application development through coursework or internships Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or cloud environments (a plus, not required) Basic understanding of software development lifecycle Additional Information This role offers hands-on experience and mentorship opportunities Responsibilities may evolve as skills develop and business needs change
