Location:
Anaheim, CA Day in the role Each day you'll transform complex drawings into reliable measurement routines, ensuring our manufactured components meet exacting standards. You'll start by reviewing prints and GD&T callouts, then translate them into robust CMM programs. Throughout the day, you'll verify results, tune routines, and collaborate with engineering and production to close the loop on quality. What you'll do Build, refine, and run CMM programs to inspect a variety of parts and assemblies. Decode engineering drawings and specifications to define inspection strategies. Create and sustain measurement routines for both new product introductions and existing lines. Perform routine calibration and basic maintenance on CMM equipment to keep performance optimal. Evaluate measurement results, investigate discrepancies, and produce clear QA reports. Partner with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality concerns. Coach junior team members on effective programming methods and inspection best practices. Track developments in CMM software, sensors, and metrology practices to enhance capability. What you bring Hands-on background as a CMM Programmer in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency with leading CMM platforms such as PC-DMIS and/or Calypso. Working command of GD&T and how to apply it to measurement planning. Strong analytical mindset and methodical problem-solving approach. Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and specifications. Unwavering attention to detail and a quality-first mentality. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience preferred.
