Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Programmer specializing in Sheet Metal and Wire fabrication to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in programming, setting up, and operating a variety of advanced machinery to produce high-quality sheet metal and wire components. Your expertise will directly contribute to streamlining production processes, ensuring precision, and maintaining the highest standards of quality. Duties Programming & Nesting:
Create precise programs for laser and press production using TRUMPF Boost. Nest parts to maximize material yield and production efficiency.Design & Unfolding:
Draw and program parts and assemblies; unfold customer-designed parts to create accurate flat patterns.Technical Support:
Provide design assistance for product engineering and help design custom tooling and fixtures.Documentation & Prep:
Print and compile setup plans for job packets. This role involves a high volume of essential paperwork and organizational tasks.File Management:
Maintain organized laser program files, setup sheets, and documented revisions.Print Reading:
Read, analyze, and interpret technical information, including blueprints and flat patterns.Experience Software:
Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and TRUMPF Boost.Administrative:
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).Technical Literacy:
Ability to generate prints from customer CAD files and interpret complex engineering drawings.Precision & Detail:
A focus on accuracy, from nesting efficiency to managing revision paperwork.Flexibility:
