Job Description

Job Overview:
We are looking for someone to lead our sheetmetal and fabrication areas. Primary responsibility is to program and supervise 2 flat sheet lasers. Along with the laser you will supervise 3-4 machinists and be in charge of 2 brake presses, several punch presses.
Duties:
program and supervise 2 lasers, one older CO2 Machine and one is a brand new Fiber machine. Program and supervise 2 Brake presses. One of our brakes is a large CNC and one is a convectional hydraulic press. supervise, setup or assist on several punch presses. Instruct, lead and train our machine operators. keep track of schedules and materials.
Qualifications:
We program our laser with Striker so experience with that software would be a plus but not required. We will require previous laser programing and CAD/CAM software experience. In lieu of laser programing experience we would consider someone with an ME or MET degree and solid CAD skills.
PLEASE DONT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NEVER PROGRAMED A
LASER or don't have a mechanical engineering degree. We require at least 2 years of prior Brake press experience or an engineering degree. Experience supervising others would be helpful.
