This role involves developing, testing, and optimizing robotic welding programs to ensure high-quality, efficient production of complex components. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in robot programming, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a lean manufacturing environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced robotics technology in a dynamic, safety-focused setting committed to quality and innovation.

Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm $28/hr •Please note, this role will require a secondary interview•

Duties Develop and modify welding programs for robotic systems using Fanuc and other robotics platforms to maximize efficiency and precision. Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate program implementation. Conduct root cause analysis on welding defects or process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions. Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to review tooling designs, fixtures, and mechanical components relevant to robotic welding applications. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of robotic systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal operation. Integrate vision inspection systems and distributed control systems into robotic workflows for quality assurance. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by streamlining processes, reducing waste, and enhancing productivity through automation. Read schematics and technical documentation to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to robotics. Assist in the development of machining processes and tooling specifications for robotic welding applications. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, modifications, and system configurations for compliance and future reference. Skills Proficiency in robot programming platforms such as Fanuc Robotics or equivalent systems. Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment, tooling, and machining processes. Experience with schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and technical drawings. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and automation integration. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Ability to perform root cause analysis on process issues and implement effective solutions. Skilled in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and vision inspection system integration. Understanding of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards applicable in regulated environments. Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with a proactive approach to system maintenance. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration within diverse teams.
