Job Title:
NC Programmer Job Description We are seeking a skilled NC Programmer with a strong background in programming machining equipment for the aerospace industry. This role is integral in the manufacture of precision-machined parts, ensuring efficiency and precision in every project. Responsibilities Write and modify CNC programs and instruction sheets for multi-axis machined parts. Coordinate program start-ups in manufacturing and assist in troubleshooting. Provide recommendations for the selection of cutting tools. Monitor performance of programs after implementation and make necessary adjustments. Evaluate requests for new or modified programs to determine feasibility, cost, and time estimates. Maintain program files and ensure their accuracy. Analyze, review, and recommend modifications to existing programs to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve processes. Essential Skills Minimum three years of experience using CATIA v. 5 or Mastercam. More than three years of experience programming five-axis CNC machines. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and specifications. Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Strong grasp of mathematical concepts including geometry and trigonometry. Experience with computer modeling software. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred. Two years of machining experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Capability to meet strict deadlines.
