6:30am to 4:30pm Monday
- Thursday ( 4 ten hour days) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Master CAM Technician responsible for creating, optimizing, and troubleshooting CNC programs in collaboration with engineering teams using advanced CAM software.
This role plays a key part in supporting high-precision machining operations by developing efficient toolpaths, improving production workflows, and ensuring the accurate manufacturing of complex components. Key Responsibilities Generate and optimize toolpaths for multi-axis CNC machining (3, 4, and 5 axis) Post-process CNC programs for various machine types Collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and setup technicians Troubleshoot CNC program errors and machine performance issues Validate toolpaths using simulation software prior to production Create detailed setup sheets and tool lists for machining operations Maintain revision control and documentation of CNC programs Document machining processes, standards, and best practices Support continuous improvement of machining efficiency and precision Required Skills & Experience 5-7 years of Advanced knowledge on CNC machining processes Expert-level CAM programming experience Strong understanding of G-Code and M-Code Hands-on experience with multi-axis machining (3, 4, and 5 axis) Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings (engineering support provided as needed) Strong understanding of cutting tools, materials, and machining parameters Experience validating toolpaths through simulation tools Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
