Job Description

CNC Manufacturing Engineer responsible for CNC programming, program verification, shop floor troubleshooting, tooling support, operator training, and process improvement. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience may be considered in place of a degree At least 2 additional years of manufacturing or operations experience Experience generating and maintaining CNC programs Experience with CNC programming for milling, turning, or grinding applications Experience supporting CNC operations in a manufacturing environment Experience with tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing Preferred Skills Experience with Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, or other CAM software Experience with Vericut program verification Experience with Inventor, NX, or other 3D modeling software Experience with Lean manufacturing principles Experience supporting multi-axis milling, turning, or grinding Experience creating workstation instructions or manufacturing methods Experience leading process improvement projects Experience planning, documenting, and executing programs Project management experience Job Responsibilities Generate and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, or similar software Program CNC applications involving multi-axis milling, turning, and grinding Verify new CNC programs with Vericut before shop floor release Provide CNC-related support to Manufacturing Engineering Train operators during new machine startups, rebuilt machine startups, and process improvements Provide daily CNC programming and troubleshooting support to shop floor operators Support tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools Generate and support workstation instructions related to CNC processes Initiate and lead process improvement projects related to safety, quality, cost, and delivery Support CNC process improvements across manufacturing operations Document CNC programming changes, process updates, and manufacturing methods
