MasterCam Programmers

Summary:

Develops, verifies, and supports CNC programs, tooling, fixturing, and process improvements for manufacturing operations. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university, or high school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience At least 2 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations Experience generating and maintaining CNC programs Experience supporting CNC machining processes such as multi-axis milling, turning, and/or grinding Ability to verify CNC programs prior to shop floor release Ability to support operator troubleshooting and CNC-related shop floor issues Ability to create and support workstation instructions for CNC processes Preferred Skills Experience with Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, or similar CAM software Experience with Inventor, NX, or other 3D modeling software Experience with Vericut Experience with Lean manufacturing principles Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing Experience with tooling and fixturing support for CNC machine tools Project management experience Experience analyzing and resolving manufacturing process issues Job Responsibilities Generate and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000, or similar software Program for multi-axis milling, turning, and grinding applications Verify new CNC programs using Vericut before release to production Provide CNC-related support to manufacturing engineering Train operators during new machine startup, rebuilt machine startup, and process improvement rollouts Provide daily CNC programming and troubleshooting support to shop floor operations Support and implement tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools Generate and maintain workstation instructions related to CNC processes Initiate and lead process improvement projects focused on safety, quality, cost, and delivery
