CNC Lathe Programmer Location:
Mt.
Clemens, MI Shift:

Based on Experience Job Summary We are hiring a CNC Lathe Programmer to support precision machining operations. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment serving industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, and more. What You'll Be Doing Write and edit CNC programs using G & M codes (Fanuc) Set up and operate CNC lathe machines Analyze blueprints, drawings, and job specifications Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for optimal performance Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments Conduct first-piece inspections and ensure parts meet specifications Read and interpret programs and make necessary edits Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the machining process
What We're Looking For Qualifications:
8-10 years of CNC lathe programming and setup experience preferred Experience programming at the machine using G & M codes (Fanuc) Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience holding tight tolerances Ability to perform offsets and tooling changes
Skills & Competencies:
Proficient with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators) Strong attention to detail and quality Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Physical Requirements:
