CNC Swiss Programmer / Lead Setup TechnicianSwiss CNC | Multi-Axis | Citizen | Star | Tsugami | Tight Tolerance MachiningJob SummaryWe are hiring a skilled CNC Swiss Programmer / Lead Setup Technician to program, set up, and optimize multi-axis Swiss CNC lathes producing tight-tolerance precision components.

This role requires strong experience with Swiss-style CNC machines, G-code programming, blueprint interpretation, and hands-on setup leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Program and edit G-code on Swiss CNC machines (Citizen, Star, Tsugami, Hanwha, or similar)Perform and lead complex setups on multi-axis Swiss lathesRead and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawingsSelect tooling, adjust offsets, and optimize feeds and speedsTroubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, program logic, and material behaviorImprove cycle times and reduce scrap through process optimizationPerform first-piece inspections and ensure parts meet tight tolerancesSupport continuous improvement initiativesTrain and mentor CNC machinists and operators

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Swiss CNC programming experienceExperience with multi-axis Swiss turning centersStrong knowledge of G-code programmingAdvanced blueprint reading and GD&T skillsExperience machining stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, or specialty alloysProven troubleshooting and setup leadership experienceStrong understanding of tooling, speeds/feeds, and process optimizationAbility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Preferred Experience:

Experience in medical device, aerospace, or high-precision manufacturingExperience with bar feeders and automationFamiliarity with CAM software (Esprit, Mastercam, PartMaker, or similar)
