Kearney, NE and other surrounding locations Direct Hire opportunity with career growth and long-term stability Job Description Join a n ethanol manufacturer in Kearney, NE as an Instrumentation P rogrammer on 1st Shift. In this key maintenance role you will responsible for the safe and efficient programming and maintenance of the plant equipment. This role will perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, repair equipment failures, and resolve concerns at all locations to ensure maximum production quantity and quality. The Instrumentation Programmer is based out of Kearney and will be dispatched to locations as needed, with assignments approved by the Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement programming solutions for instrumentation systems at all company facilities Perform preventative and proactive maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner Perform inspections and adjustments on equipment Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to determine project priorities and dispatch requirements Ensure all instrumentation programming meets company standards and regulatory requirements Learn the plant process for a better understanding of how the equipment is utilized Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrumentation programming and other technical problems Provide technical support and training to facility personnel as needed
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Experience with electrical and instrumentation installation, troubleshooting and repair. Proven experience in instrumentation programming Strong knowledge of relevant programming languages and tools Experience in operation of an ethanol plant, manufacturing, and production helpful Knowledge and ability with basic office computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications.
