Job Description
Job Opportunity:
Instrumentation Programmer KAAPA is hiring a detail oriented, dependable Instrumentation Programmer based in Kearney who will travel to our Minden, Ravenna, and Aurora locations with a focus on plant reliability.Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement programming solutions for instrumentation systems at all company facilities Perform preventative and proactive maintenance tasks in a safe and efficient manner Perform inspections and adjustments on equipment Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to determine project priorities and dispatch requirements Ensure all instrumentation programming meets company standards and regulatory requirements Learn the plant process for a better understanding of how the equipment is utilized Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrumentation programming and other technical problems Provide technical support and training to facility personnel as needed Other tasks as assigned Work in a safe manner at all times Assist in identifying safety hazards and/or regulatory compliance problems Follow procedures for plant operations and safety Must be self-motivated and provide quality work with possible time restrictionsWorking Hours:
Monday- Friday 8am- 4:30pm and must be available for overtime work and/or on a call-in basis as required as the plant is operational 24 hours a day/ 7 days a weekQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Post-secondary education and/or technical trade certificate preferred Valid driver's license Experience with electrical and instrumentation installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Additional experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics desired Proven experience in instrumentation programming Strong knowledge of relevant programming languages and tools Experience in operation of an ethanol plant, manufacturing, and production helpful Ability to use and interpret phase testers, multi-meters, and meggers. Operate drill press, grinder, and other metal working equipment desired Experience in the repair of equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, airlocks, agitator assembles, piping systems, boiler operations, conveyers, etc. Desired Able to write and maintain detailed repair reports and other records Basic computer knowledge Learn and effectively use Computer Maintenance Management Software (CMMS)Benefits:
