Duties and Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs (G-code) for milling machines based on engineering drawings and specifications. Read and analyze blueprints, CAD models, and work instructions to determine machining requirements, tolerances, and tooling needs Assist with or perform machine setup, including tool selection, fixture setup, and initial test runs to ensure programs run correctly Improve cycle times, tool life, and overall efficiency while maintaining quality standards Determine appropriate cutting tools, tool paths, speeds, and feeds for various materials and part geometries Keep accurate records of programs, setups, tooling lists, and process changes Work closely with machinists, engineers, and production staff to improve processes and resolve issues About the
