Full Job Description Job Title:
CAD Programmer / Designer (SolidWorks & AutoCAD)
Pay:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Programmer/Designer with experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation.
Responsibilities:
Create and revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Develop detailed fabrication and assembly drawings. Interpret engineering specifications, sketches, and technical documents. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams. Maintain drawing standards and document control procedures. Support production and design improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Ability to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models. Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field. Experience with sheet metal, weldments, or mechanical design. Knowledge of CNC programming or manufacturing processes is a plus.
