Senior Programmer/Analyst
Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Four (4) years of full-time experience in supporting and implementing EHR Dental Application. Experience with the programming of automation tasks, data access and data processing. Experience working with relational databases. Experience in reporting tools (such as Crystal) in relational database environments. Advanced axiUm experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) or more years of full-time healthcare systems experience. Experience with Electronic Health Records. Experience in medical digital imaging software and standards (MRI, DiCom). Working experience with Crystal Reports. Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop OS. Proficiency in MS Office Products. Experience working in a higher education setting.Description of Duties:
The Senior Programmer/Analyst is responsible for management of key clinical, educational and assessment systems within the School of Dental Medicine. Individuals work closely with School administration and clinicians to provide high quality information and systems support through the maintenance of essential and school-specific software applications and hardware. Successful incumbent must be detail oriented, with strong analytical and organizational skills, and ability to multitask. The Senior Programmer/Analyst will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Duties Administer and support axiUm software (EHR). Compile critical student performance, billing, and service data and reports for educational and clinical care support purposes. Assist in the administration and security of the school's data and desktop computer environment. Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and departmental mission.Special Notes:
