In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and coordinating laser cutting operations and materials to ensure precision and efficiency. Your expertise will drive the production of high-quality components, utilizing advanced CNC laser equipment and CAD/CAM software. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology, streamline manufacturing processes, and contribute to innovative projects that demand exceptional attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Develop and optimize laser cutting programs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Metalix and other relevant tools. Set up laser cutting materials and nests. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings to accurately produce parts. Coordinate daily production schedules, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively with team members to meet manufacturing deadlines. Proven experience with CNC programming for laser cutting systems. Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent for designing and modifying parts. Knowledge of CAM programming techniques specific to laser machining processes. Familiarity with blueprint reading including GD&T standards; ability to interpret schematics accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup, geometry calculations, precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers), and schematics interpretation. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles aimed at reducing waste while improving productivity. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Order/ Job coordinating. 1 -2 year AutoCAD, SolidWorks experience required
