Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Robotic Welder Programmer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing robotic welding programs to ensure high-quality production output. Your expertise will drive efficiency, precision, and innovation in our automated welding processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge robotics technology and contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Develop, modify, and troubleshoot robotic welding programs using Fanuc, Motoman, and Yakasawa robotics systems to meet production specifications. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize welding processes for efficiency, quality, and safety. Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately set up robotic systems and tooling configurations. Conduct root cause analysis on welding defects or process issues and implement corrective actions promptly. Maintain detailed documentation of robot programs, process changes, and calibration procedures. Experience Strong mechanical knowledge including schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, tooling setup, machining, and fixture design. Hands-on experience with robot programming languages and integration of vision inspection systems for quality assurance preferred Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently using troubleshooting tools and techniques. Pacific Metal Fab offers on the job training for this position Physical Requirements and Work Environment Fabrication shop environment with moderate noise Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to see, hear, and use hands to program machines

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
