$40 - $45 per hour Job Details - We are seeking an experienced and innovative Machinist Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for precision and a keen understanding of the complex machinery used in the manufacturing industry. As a Machinist Programmer, you will be at the forefront of our operations, programming and operating complex machinery to produce high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
Develop, install, and manage CNC programs for 5 Axis machine tools. Use Mastercam software to create and optimize machining programs. Measure and inspect parts using micrometers to ensure adherence to specifications. Interpret and implement G Code programming in the manufacturing process. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines and programs. Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement new manufacturing processes. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Provide training and guidance to junior machinists and operators. Plan and forecast machining projects, including material needs, labor, and time requirements. Continually improve machining processes and procedures for increased efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist Programmer in the manufacturing industry. Proven experience with 5 Axis machine tools. Proficiency in Mastercam software. Demonstrable skill in the use of micrometers. Extensive knowledge and understanding of G Code programming. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
