Jack Henry is seeking an experienced programmer to join our Banking Operations Integration team. In this role, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to support the annual release process for our SilverLake and 20/20 core platforms, along with other Jack Henry products. You will also provide ongoing support to customers across the United States. This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO. This position is ineligible for immigration sponsorship and support. The salary range for this position is $56,800-$89,500 and will be determined based on location and experience level. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity. What you'll be responsible for: Develops programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements. Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software. Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting. Troubleshoots and debugs existing code. Test's code and fixes to ensure quality. Provides programming support for various interfaces. Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function. Creates programming documentation as requested; may include defining the system and functional requirements of the product. May complete project bids and/or work effort estimates. Interacts with customers to gather system requirements. Mentors, trains, develops, and provides support to less experienced co-workers. May perform other job duties as assigned. What you'll need to have: Minimum of 2 years of technical support experience or programming experience either professionally or educationally. Must have experience programming with any version of RPG. Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends. What would be nice for you to have: IBMi development experience. Able to meet aggressive deadlines. Strong knowledge of the financial industry.
