Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Application & Web Services, the Computer Programmer/Analyst is responsible for logical analysis, design, and modification of new and existing programs and applications. Job Duties Perform logical analysis, design, and modification of new and existing programs and applications. Develop detailed program specifications and documentation Perform detailed program design, coding, testing, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of batch and interactive systems. Train and assist faculty, staff, and students in the use of computer hardware and internal software. Monitor hardware, software, and database systems, reporting unusual conditions to appropriate staff. Complete other assignments as directed by supervision. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution One year of experience in programming and scripting utilizing medium- to large-scale computer systems Experience with SQL Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or higher in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution UNIX and/or Linux operating systems experience Experience with Advanced SQL Experience with programming languages such as PL/SQL and Java Human Resources, Payroll, or Advancement data processing experience Ellucian Banner experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Technology Skills:

MS Office suite; videoconferencing software; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems Strong communication skills with non-technical faculty, staff, and students.
