In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and executing complex CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs to produce high-precision components. Your expertise in CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), and various machining techniques will drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to precision manufacturing excellence. Responsibilities Develop and modify CNC programs for milling machines, lathes, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment using CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, and AutoCAD. Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining processes. Set up and operate CNC machinery, including CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring precise tool paths and optimal performance. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify component dimensions and tolerances. Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall machining efficiency. Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, inspections, and process adjustments for quality assurance purposes. Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling design, fixture setup, and schematic interpretation to enhance manufacturing capabilities. Requirements Proven experience programming CNC machines using Fanuc controls or similar systems in a precision manufacturing environment. Strong proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD for designing parts and tooling; experience with CATIA is a plus. Extensive knowledge of GD&T principles for accurate blueprint reading and quality control. Hands-on experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM), CNC lathe operations, and CNC milling machines. Familiarity with CAM programming software to generate efficient tool paths for complex geometries. Mechanical knowledge of tooling selection, geometry calculations, schematics interpretation, and the use of precision measuring instruments including bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Strong math skills for precise measurements and calculations essential in high-tolerance manufacturing. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to promote continuous improvement in production processes.
