Job Description
Job Responsibilities Utilizes Work Orders, blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements to program laser CNC machines and press brakes. Interpret engineering blueprints to draw (program) flat pattern layouts of parts using CAD/CAM software Work with clients' engineers to determine appropriate tooling and drawing dimensions to maintain critical dimensions Reverse engineer parts for manufacturing Consults with management to resolve manufacturing or assembly problems. Use 3D software (Solidworks) to ensure critical dimensions will be maintained during bending operation Nest flat drawings into laser programming SigmaNEST software to maximize material utilization and reduce remnant Determine flat drawings, bend sequences and tooling for press brake using SigmaBEND software (Autopol software) Program and maintain current file revisions of all client parts Job Requirements Previous experienced drafting in a fabrication company 2+ Years CNC laser programming (Trumpf and Amada) 2+ Years press brake programming (Safan preferred) 2+ Years CAD experience required 3+ Years drawing 3D parts in Solidworks Ability to read / understand engineered product drawings Preferred Experience in SigmaNEST Experience in Autopol / SigmaBEND Programming CNC Mills & Lathes using MasterCam B.S.
