In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and executing laser cutting programs to produce precise and high-quality components. Your expertise in programming Trumpf lasers, using TruTops/Boost software, and manufacturing processes will drive efficiency and accuracy across production operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced laser technology and contribute to innovative manufacturing solutions in a fast-paced environment. Duties Develop and modify laser cutting programs using TruTops/Boost. Operate and troubleshoot Trumpf Trulaser Center 7030, ensuring precise cuts according to technical drawings and schematics. Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to accurately set up machining parameters. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify component dimensions and quality standards. Collaborate with design team to review nesting requirements, mechanical drawings, and geometric tolerances for manufacturing feasibility. Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. Maintain detailed records of program revisions, machine settings, inspection reports, and production logs for traceability and continuous improvement. Experience Proven experience in TruTops/Boost programming for Trumpf laser cutting operations within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Trumpf control systems used in laser machinery. Understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, GD&T standards, and geometric tolerances. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling setup and precision measurement instruments. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to optimize workflow efficiency.
