Manager environment. Monitor system performance, conduct log analysis, and perform performance tuning. Perform platform capacity planning and provide performance metrics and recommendations. Ensure overall availability, reliability, and stability of the SAS environment. Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective solutions.

Management Configure and administer SAS Grid Manager. Manage and maintain LSF (Load Sharing Facility) queues and nodes. Ensure workload balancing across grid nodes. Monitor grid activity to ensure efficient execution of SAS-generated code. SAS Environment & Metadata Management Maintain and administer SAS Metadata via SAS Management Console (SMC). Create and manage users, groups, and roles. Secure and manage SAS folders and metadata permissions. Define and update server definitions. Monitor logs within SMC. Create and manage SAS and RDBMS libraries (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake). Security & Authentication Implement and maintain SAS security framework. Integrate SAS with enterprise authentication systems (Active Directory/LDAP). Manage metadata identities and access controls. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards. Secure source data access across business units. Server & Linux Administration Start/stop SAS servers and services. Understand and manage SAS configuration files (autoexec, config, environment files). Implement and manage backup strategies. Monitor SAS jobs using Linux commands. Maintain understanding of Linux and SAS integration. Data Integration & Connectivity Configure and support SAS/Access products (Oracle, MS SQL Server, Snowflake). Support SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence suite. Support SAS Studio and SAS Enterprise Guide (SAS/Office Analytics). Ensure stable connectivity to enterprise data sources. Troubleshooting & Support Act as escalation point for production/platform issues. Perform root cause analysis of SAS platform and client issues. Coordinate with storage, database, server, and LDAP administrators. Serve as SAS subject matter expert for users and IT teams. Salary Range:

$130,000 to $160,000 per year
