software Manufacturing company experience Full Job Description We are a fast-growing manufacturing company seeking a highly qualified Laser Programmer to support our cutting department. This role will focus on programming, nesting, setup, and operation of our 6K DNE Fiber Laser . We are looking for someone with strong technical experience, attention to detail, and a passion for efficiency and quality. Our shop offers a safe, clean, and positive work environment with opportunities for growth.
Requirements:
3-5+ years of laser programming experience in a manufacturing environment Proven ability to
PROGRAM, SET
UP, and OPERATE fiber laser machines Experience with nesting software and CAD/CAM systems Experience with DNE or similar fiber laser equipment preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and GD&T Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good organizational and communication skills Ability to pass a proficiency test
Responsibilities:
Program and optimize laser cutting programs using CAD/CAM and nesting software Operate and support production on a 6K DNE Fiber Laser for various material types and thicknesses Create efficient nests to maximize material utilization and reduce waste Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for production Set up jobs including material selection, parameters, and machine readiness Monitor cutting performance and adjust settings for quality and efficiency Troubleshoot cutting issues and continuously improve processes Perform routine machine maintenance and coordinate repairs when necessary Ensure compliance with safety standards and company quality procedures Document job progress, issues, and production needs to maintain workflow continuity
