Pentara is a leading clinical research organization, and we're looking for a Biostats Statistical Programmer to join our team. As a Biostats Statistical Programmer at Pentara, you will be the backbone of our clinical data pipeline, ensuring that complex clinical trial data is accurately transformed, analyzed, and prepared for regulatory submission. You will work closely with our Biostatisticians and Clinical Teams to translate raw clinical data and advanced statistical analysis plans into compliant datasets, tables, and models that meet the highest standards of regulatory agencies. What you will do:
CDISC Standardization:
Transforms raw clinical trial data into standard SDTM and ADaM datasets required for regulatory submissions.
TLF Generation:
Writes and executes SAS code to produce the tables, listings, and figures needed for Clinical Study Reports.
Statistical Modeling:
Programs advanced statistical and efficacy models, such as MMRM and survival analyses, specified in the Statistical Analysis Plan.
DSMB & Interim Support:
Develops automated pipelines to provide safety and efficacy data for Data Safety Monitoring Boards while strictly maintaining trial blinding.
Data Cleaning & Anomaly Detection:
Creates custom data-check programming to proactively identify and flag hidden data irregularities and gaps early in the trial.
Independent Validation:
Performs rigorous quality control by double-programming key datasets and outputs to ensure perfect alignment and error-free submissions.
Who you are:
Enjoy taking ownership and collaborating with others to solve problems. Uncompromising attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication for client-facing interactions.
Experience you will bring:
Education:
BS in Computer Science or STEM related field. Masters preferred.
Experience:
2-5 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills:
SAS Base Programming Certification required before starting position. SAS and R experience.
