Shift Pay Rate:
Starting at $28.00/hr (higher depending on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CAD/CAM Programmer to join a growing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong machining experience who can program, set up, and optimize CNC operations while ensuring quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and modify CAM programs using Fusion 360 or similar software Perform machine setup, including tooling, speeds, and feeds Interpret and work with G & M code Conduct first article inspections and ensure part quality Use inspection equipment such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers Troubleshoot machining issues and implement effective solutions Collaborate with operators and team members to improve processes
Required Qualifications:
Several years of hands-on machining experience 2-5 years of CAM programming experience (Fusion 360 preferred; SolidCAM, MasterCAM, or FeatureCAM acceptable) Strong understanding of machine setup, tooling, and CNC processes Experience with inspection tools and quality checks Proven problem-solving skills in a machining environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with HAAS machines Technical certification in machining or a related field Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Ability to train and mentor team members Strong communication skills and ability to share knowledge effectively
