Overview We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Digital Fabrication Programmer / Alphacam CAD-CAM Programmer to join our team. This role is responsible for programming and optimizing CNC machinery to produce precise stone fabrication components while supporting an efficient, high-quality digital workflow from template to production. Laser Templating Systems Raptor Software Slabsmith Nesting Software Alphacam CAD/CAM Software GMM Brio 5-Axis CNC Saw Sasso K600 Ultimate 5-Axis CNC Saw Northwood 138 CNC Router BBM Paladin CNC Router The Northwood and BBM routers operate on the same programming platform/workflow. Stone industry experience is preferred, but we are also open to candidates from cabinetry, millwork, CNC woodworking, sign manufacturing, and other advanced manufacturing industries with strong CAD/CAM fundamentals. Responsibilites Develop and optimize CNC programs using Alphacam software for stone fabrication and digital manufacturing processes Program CNC saws and routers for countertop fabrication Create and optimize toolpaths and machining strategies Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and digital layouts to generate accurate machining instructions Collaborate with office and production teams to support efficient workflow from template to production Manage CAD/CAM workflow including slab layout, nesting, and production sequencing Troubleshoot programming and machining issues Maintain tooling libraries and machine setup standards Maintain documentation of programming procedures, workflows, and production standards Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improve efficiency Assist in maintaining workflow consistency and digital fabrication standards Qualifications Preferred experience includes: Proven CNC programming and CAD/CAM experience Strong Alphacam CAD/CAM experience preferred Experience with stone fabrication, millwork, cabinetry, CNC woodworking, or related manufacturing industries 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC experience Experience with Slabsmith, Northwood, BBM, GMM, Sasso, or similar systems is a plus Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling strategies Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication layouts Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment Strong communication and teamwork skillspush the boundaries of digital fabrication!
