Videos Duties Help Duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Supervises a staff of Informics employees to accomplish the work of the health informics office. Exercises supervisory authorities and responsibilities involving work assignments and reviews, approves, or rejects daily and long-range work requirements. Supervises, plans, and directs overall personnel management activities. Serves as liaison between clinical staff and technical staff and manages all administrive aspects of their programs and projects. Develops targeted, mission-aligned, program goals and objectives th are clearly defined, specific, measurable, tainable, relevant, and timely. Develops and implements policies, procedures, and organizional tools to ensure program success. Cultives and maintains effective relionships with key partners and stakeholders th impact informics from the central office level, through the facility level. Cultives a healthy working relionship between the Offices of Informion and Technology (OIT) and Health Informics, allowing for routine dialog to enable the sustainment and optimizion of our health informion technology (IT) solutions and workflows, for the benefit of all staff and Veterans. Cultives a healthy collaborion between enterprise and facility level clinical / biomedical engineering staff and health informics, ensuring th pient care technology is effectively and efficiently integred into the clinical process. This role combines clinical, administrive, and technical knowledge th involve multiple specialized areas of a complex nure to develop, manage, maintain, and lead major health informics initiives and projects of a broad scope. Enables healthcare capabilities and the evolution of technology adjoined to the electronic health record (EHR) to deliver quality care by developing, implementing, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing informics tools and access to them. Ensures clinical input in the development and management of the (VHA) business architecture, which structures and communices the VHA healthcare business, and includes descriptions of business behaviors, functionality, processes, and the flow of informion th is required to achieve VHA's mission. Ensures the VHA EHR and other clinical and business systems opere in a way th improves pient care, ensures pient safety, and meets the needs of providers. Evalues, documents, analyzes, prioritizes, and recognizes requirements for the improvement of the EHR and other systems in collaborion with the end-user. Uses communicion, educion, and leadership to support comprehension of and adaption to organizional updes. Develops educional handouts, administers computer-based learning modules and other training vehicles, and provides formal and informal in-services to facility staff on the various software packages utilized their facility. Specialized Experience:
You must have least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to least the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal Service, th is directly reled to the work of the position and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties as a Supervisory Program Analyst

Qualifying specialized experience includes determining organizional unit goals and objectives in a constantly changing and developing health care field; independently performing a full range of da analysis, to include collecting, evaluing, and synthesizing of da; preparing briefing documents and making presentions to senior managers; assists with estiming program budgets, reviewing contractor and health informics work plans, and progress report development; and experienced knowledge and use of nional dabase architecture and file structure, analytical techniques, and clinical applicions development techniques.
NOTE:
One (1) full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience credited on the basis of time actually spent in approprie activities. Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indice clearly the nure of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment. The full performance level of this vacancy is GS 13. The actual grade which an applicant may be selected for this vacancy is GS 13.
