Day Shift Benefits A leading healthcare organization offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Retirement plans Paid time off (PTO) Paid parental leave Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Short-term and long-term disability coverage Career growth and advancement opportunities Position Overview We are seeking an experienced IT RN Clinical Applications Specialist to support and optimize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and related clinical applications across multiple healthcare facilities. This role involves collaboration with clinical teams, IT professionals, and vendors to ensure systems align with best practices in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Key Responsibilities Clinical Applications Support Maintain and support clinical applications in coordination with IT and clinical teams Manage user access and permissions Update and maintain clinical application content, including: Lab and radiology tests Medications and immunizations Diagnosis and procedure codes Enhance and optimize clinical decision support systems Align and improve clinical workflows across facilities User Training & Education Deliver training through: Classroom sessions One-on-one coaching Remote and virtual platforms Develop and maintain training materials Provide ongoing end-user support Troubleshooting & Technical Support Triage and resolve user issues in collaboration with: Help Desk and IT teams Network and system administrators Clinical staff and leadership Support system implementations and workflow improvements Additional Responsibilities Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Advanced degrees may substitute for experience Licensure & Certifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (any U.S. state) required Must obtain Alaska RN license prior to start (if not already held) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Clinical Informatics training preferred Experience Minimum 5 years in a healthcare/medical setting Minimum 2 years with clinical information systems At least 1 year of technical experience (e.g., programming, system support, reporting) Inpatient clinical experience preferred Experience in training/education preferred HL7 messaging experience preferred Familiarity with accreditation processes preferred Required Knowledge & Skills Knowledge Clinical information systems & EHR platforms Healthcare IT systems (lab, radiology, scheduling, documentation) Clinical workflows and standards of care Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders Problem-solving and analytical thinking For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-587-6677 .
