Job Description

PowerGrid Services is looking for an IT Deskside Services Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, hands-on technical support. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, supporting, and maintaining the technology that keeps our teams moving. What You'll Do Hands-On Technical Support Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues Provide in-person and phone support to end-users Ensure timely and effective resolution of IT requests System Setup & Maintenance Install, configure, and support computers, phones, tablets, printers, and more Provision user accounts and system access Monitor and maintain IT systems for optimal performance Asset & Inventory Management Manage IT assets including procurement, tracking, and inventory Maintain accurate records of hardware and software Training & Documentation Provide end-user training on systems and tools Create and maintain knowledgebase articles and "how-to" guides Document technical issues and resolutions accurately Security & Compliance Follow IT security protocols and best practices Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures What We're Looking For High School Diploma required 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing technical support role Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred) IT Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Administrator) a plus Key Skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users Experience documenting issues, solutions, and systems Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Why Join PowerGrid Services?
