Job Description

Overview NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for an IT Network Engineer to join our Corporate Headquarters on-site in Birmingham, AL . NaphCare partners with correctional facilities to provide proactive, patient-focused healthcare. Be part of a world-class team of professionals who are revolutionizing correctional healthcare. •This is not a remote position•Responsibilities Senior level position expected to provide top tier of support related to the design, installation, management, and maintenance of our nationwide network of sites and users Implementation, Management and troubleshooting of Cisco and Aruba networks Communicate with end-users in order to provide top tier support for network issues Qualifications A minimum of 7 years of network architecture experience is required for this senior level position; 10-12 years of relevant experience is ideal Bachelor's Degree and previous IT consulting experience highly preferred Experience with Aruba AP's, Cisco Switches/Routers, Palo Alto Firewalls, MS Radius and Avaya Phones a plus. Solarwinds, Cisco ASA Firewalls, Firewall Management Center knowledge. Palo Alto experience a plus Demonstrated excellence in customer service and ability to communicate with all levels of cross-functional teams Ability to logically troubleshoot in order to create innovative and practical solutions for problems as they arise Ability to manage individual tasks and move projects towards known goals with minimal supervision in a team-based, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Ability to travel, as needed, to support networks across the country. Travel less than 10% of the month. Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members
Physical Capabilities:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
