- Tech is responsible for helping manage the Bank's local area network (LAN) hardware and software system programs within schedule and budget constraints.
The Incumbent defines resources and schedules for program implementation; supports the desktop and mobile device needs of the employees of the Bank, which include, but is not limited to printers, scanners, computers, smart phones, tablets, and installation of software and hardware; reset of passwords for several Bank systems; and handles support questions for all products. The Incumbent installs and configures computer and phone system hardware and software; diagnoses and solves hardware/software issues, performs periodic reviews of systems for security and capacity status to and ensures LAN/WAN security. The position requires regularly working with confidential Bank and customer information and driving a motorized vehicle to various Bank locations and other job related functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

While working with confidential Bank information, provides direct support through the Service Desk and/or telephone support to Bank personnel with respect to the Bank's local area, wide area, wireless, Internet, Intranet, telephone and e-mail systems, as well as all related hardware issues (laptops, desktops, telephone, printers and/or scanners) and software programs; answers questions of a general nature; provides step-by-step technical instruction and supports, trouble-shoots and resolves network and end user problems. 2. While working with confidential Bank information, performs routine system or user administrative tasks, such as system specification changes or the addition, change, or deletion of employees on the Bank's various systems and networks; assists employees by re-setting Network and System Passwords when lockouts occur; ensures necessary documentation is attained and properly authorized for such requests; originates and maintains system and user files. 3. While working with confidential bank information, sets up new PCs, Printers and Phones for employees, ensuring connectivity to required Bank systems as well as proper software installations and data file transfers from old PCs to new PCs. Trains and provides training assistance to Bank end users as needed. 4. Maintains proper inventory of IT related equipment. 5. While working with confidential Bank and customer information, assists in special projects and tasks of a diverse nature for the department under the direction of the Information Technology Manager, CTO or IT Project Manager. 6. Maintains basic knowledge and awareness of financial industry technical status and trends. 7. Works directly with software and hardware support vendors when internal troubleshooting efforts cannot resolve issues, advanced help is needed, or as otherwise necessary. 8. Performs duties specific to the position and other functions as assigned. 9. Routinely drives a motorized vehicle to various Bank locations. 10. Works with confidential Bank and customer information while performing the essential duties enumerated above. 11. Able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
The incumbent will spend most of the time performing this position in a professional office-type setting. The position may include driving a motorized vehicle, which includes exposure to the outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts, as well as some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc. The incumbent must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods of time. Some filing is also required. This requires the abilities to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The incumbent for this position may operate any or all of the following: telephone, smart phone, copy and fax machines, adding machine (calculator), scanner and image systems, computer terminal, laptop computer, personal computer, tablet, printers, or other equipment as directed. The incumbent in this position must be able to read and understand documents, instruments, and highly technical reports; perform detailed work; and problem solve. Incumbent must also display proficiency in customer contact, employee development, analytical reasoning, math, language, presentation skills, and verbal and written communication. Incumbent must be able to effectively manage stress, multiple concurrent tasks, and constant interruptions. Solving programs may be stressful and frustrating at times.

This position is designated as a safety sensitive position because it requires the regular handling of highly sensitive and confidential Bank and customer information and operating a motor vehicle. Performing this job in a discreet and professional manner requires alertness at all times. Any lapse of attention could have a significant financial impact on the Bank and its customers, or on others while operating a motor vehicle.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Work related experience should consist of a technical background in information technology resources, products or services. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or technical industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related. Prior experience supporting, implementing and/or administering networks such as Microsoft Windows Active Directory preferred.
COMPETENCIES
Basic experience, knowledge, and training in information technology department operations. Basic knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations related to information technology. Basic skills in information technology operations, voice and data communications, troubleshooting techniques, user and software support, including but not limited to, host and desktop applications, as well as network administrative programs and resources; basic keyboarding skills to meet the production needs of the position. Intermediate math skills, including but not limited to ability to calculate interest and balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio, and percent; and draft and interpret bar graphs. Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others; train personnel; read, analyze, and interpret documents and professional journals; understand procedures; write reports, correspondence, and procedures; and communicate clearly with customers and employees. Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting. Ability to deal with routine technical problems involving multiple facets, variables, and situations. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties. A current, non-suspended driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage as governed by Bank policy are required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
