IT Help Desk Technician Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to provide technical support for our office and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications, assisting users with business systems, maintaining technology equipment, and providing timely solutions to ensure efficient daily operations. This role will support end users across the organization, including troubleshooting computers, printers, scanners, mobile devices, software applications, and warehouse technology systems. The IT Help Desk Technician will also assist with user access, system support, and technology-related projects as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to employees onsite. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues. Support and administer Microsoft Office 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other business applications. Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other IT equipment. Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access changes, and equipment preparation. Manage and resolve help desk tickets while maintaining accurate documentation of issues and resolutions. Support warehouse technology including scanners, label printers, inventory systems, and related equipment. Assist with user account management, permissions, and security protocols. Monitor system performance and escalate issues when necessary. Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and technology improvements. Provide training and guidance to employees on technology tools and applications. Maintain knowledge of current technology trends and recommend improvements when appropriate. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT help desk, technical support, or a related role. Strong troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and networking issues. Experience supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications. Experience working with databases and database queries. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data management. Experience supporting business applications and technology systems. Familiarity with user account management, permissions, and basic network administration. Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to work with users at all levels. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting warehouse technology or inventory systems is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed while performing job duties. Ability to safely work around warehouse operations and equipment. Ability to lift and move computer equipment and related technology items.
