What We Are Looking For Network+, CCNA, and/or CCNP Certifications desired Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Computer Science or related field preferred In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, 5 years of experience in administration of desktop environments and workstations Experience in the following required: O365 product suite, MS Active Directory Services, Windows Server 2019, Ticketing Systems (ConnectWise, Kaseya, N-able, etc.) SonicWALL and Unifi Ubiquiti hardware Experience in the follow is highly desired: understanding of small-medium advanced firewall configuration, network VLAN Self-starter with excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problems solving skills required Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation and time management skills Ability to provide a high level of customer service by answering questions, providing accurate information, and responding to requests in a timely manner. Ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish while keeping all stakeholders updated on progress in a timely manner. Working Environment Work is typically performed in onsite office settings: sometimes it is remote or in office where you will interact and collaborate with seasoned engineers sometimes at a client site. We are a learning organization. You will learn on your own by researching and with your team by taking on new projects Responsibilities Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Troubleshoot software problems related to productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and enterprise applications like ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy. Manage computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance and timely repairs or replacements. Configure and maintain network infrastructure such as LANs (Local Area Networks), WANs (Wide Area Networks), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, and network security devices like Meraki. Support Active Directory management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), Microsoft Windows Server environments, and Linux servers to streamline user access and security policies. Assist with IT infrastructure projects involving network administration, server deployment, and system upgrades while documenting processes using tools like SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and ServiceNow. Collaborate with help desk teams to escalate complex issues using tools like Jira and BMC Remedy while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Skills Strong technical support skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues efficiently. Deep understanding of computer networking concepts including
TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN
management, VPN configuration, firewall setup, and network security protocols. Proficiency in managing operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux environments. Experience with computer management tools like SCCM for software deployment and asset tracking. Knowledge of Active Directory administration, GPO configuration, DNS management, and server maintenance. Familiarity with mobile device management and support for various mobile platforms. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users. Analysis skills for diagnosing complex system issues quickly and accurately while documenting resolutions effectively.
