Job Description

Our client, a growing managed services provider in the Phoenix, Arizona area, is seeking an experienced MSP IT Support Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional with prior MSP industry experience and strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365, VMware, and Active Directory. The IT Support Engineer will provide technical support across diverse client environments, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and help maintain secure, stable, and efficient systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support for end users and client environments in an MSP settingTroubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktops, servers, networks, and cloud-based systemsAdminister and support Microsoft 365, including user accounts, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and licensingManage and support VMware virtualized environmentsMaintain and troubleshoot Active Directory, including user provisioning, group policy, permissions, and domain servicesMonitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve technical issuesSupport onboarding/offboarding processes, including account creation, permissions, hardware setup, and access managementAssist with server maintenance, patching, backups, disaster recovery, and security best practicesDocument technical issues, resolutions, and client environments accurately in the ticketing systemCollaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver excellent service and timely issue resolution
