Full Job Description Summary :
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Intermediate Onsite IT Engineer to join our IT support team. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support for end-users, manage Windows-based systems, and ensure seamless onboarding and collaboration tools. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Windows environments, user management, and Microsoft ecosystem tools, including Active Directory (AD), System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and Office 365. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced office setting. Key Responsibilities Provide tier-2 technical support for Windows desktop operating systems (e.g., Windows 10/11) and servers, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, updates, and performance optimization. Manage user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account creation, hardware provisioning, and access rights configuration. Configure and maintain Microsoft Teams setups in conference rooms, ensuring audio/video integration, room calendars, and peripheral compatibility for hybrid meetings. Perform basic Active Directory (AD) administration tasks, such as user/group management, policy enforcement, and permissions auditing. Deploy and maintain software/images using SCCM for endpoint management, patching, and compliance reporting. Support Office 365 administration, including user licensing, email setup, SharePoint access, and troubleshooting collaboration tools. Collaborate with remote IT teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to system documentation and knowledge base updates. Conduct routine hardware audits, cable management, and basic network troubleshooting in the office environment. Ensure data security and compliance by following IT policies and best practices. Required Skills and Experience Technical Expertise:
Proficient in Windows Desktop OS (Windows 10/11) and Server OS (e.g., Windows Server 2016/2019/2022) administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Hands-on experience with user onboarding/offboarding workflows, including provisioning tools and documentation. Skilled in setting up and troubleshooting Microsoft Teams for conference rooms, including integration with AV equipment. Basic knowledge of Active Directory (AD) for user/group management and Group Policy Objects (GPOs). Familiarity with SCCM for software deployment, patching, and inventory management. Working knowledge of the Office 365 suite, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and admin center tasks. Soft Skills:
Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with non-technical users. Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment and document resolutions clearly. Strong analytical mindset for diagnosing and resolving IT issues efficiently. Experience:
1-3 years of IT support experience, with at least 1 year focused on Windows environments and Microsoft tools. Proven track record in on-site support roles, including hardware setup and user training. Pay:
