IT Support Specialist I Position Summary Roadrunner Drywall & Paint is seeking a motivated, dependable, and proactive IT Support Specialist I to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and looking to build a long-term career in Information Technology. The IT Support Specialist I provides frontline technical support for office and field employees by assisting with computers, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, software applications, and other technology systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring employees have the tools and support necessary to perform their jobs efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Support Provide first-level Help Desk support for office and field employees. Troubleshoot computer, software, printer, mobile device, and connectivity issues. Install, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, and related equipment. Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint. Perform password resets, account setup, and user access management. Escalate complex issues when appropriate while maintaining ownership through resolution. Document support requests, resolutions, and recurring issues. Hardware & Equipment Management Prepare and deploy equipment for new hires. Collect, inspect, and reassign equipment from departing employees. Maintain accurate inventory records for company technology assets. Coordinate equipment repairs, replacements, and warranty claims. Perform routine maintenance and updates on company devices. Operational & Project Support Assist with technology-related projects and system implementations. Support conference room and meeting technology. Assist with mobile device management and field technology needs. Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides. Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies. Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or GED. Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Preferred Associate degree, technical certification, or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Previous Help Desk, technical support, or customer service experience. Experience supporting mobile devices, printers, and computer hardware. Basic knowledge of networking concepts and cybersecurity best practices. Competencies The successful candidate will:

Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift equipment throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
