In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support across hardware, software, and network systems to ensure seamless operations. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity of our IT infrastructure, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and deliver exceptional customer service to internal users. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment, supporting the technological backbone of our organization. Duties Deliver prompt and effective technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Troubleshoot software problems related to applications such as Microsoft Office, ServiceNow, Jira, and SCCM. Manage computer hardware components and peripherals, ensuring proper setup, maintenance, and upgrades. Configure and maintain computer networks including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), firewalls, DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, and network security devices like Meraki. Support user account management using Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO) to control access permissions and security policies. Assist with desktop support tasks such as installing operating systems (Windows Server environments), deploying updates, and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, switches, routers, and mobile devices using tools like BMC Remedy and ServiceNow for incident tracking and resolution. Conduct analysis of system logs and performance metrics to identify potential issues before they impact users. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network administration projects and contribute to ongoing improvements in IT support processes. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with end-users, understanding their needs, and delivering timely solutions. Experience Proven experience in providing IT support within a fast-paced environment; previous help desk or desktop support roles are highly desirable. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Hands-on experience managing operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux distributions. Familiarity with network administration concepts including LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP configuration, DNS management, VPNs, firewalls (e.g., Meraki), and wireless networking solutions. Experience working with enterprise tools like SCCM for software deployment; Active Directory for user management; GPO for policy enforcement; ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking. Ability to analyze technical issues quickly using strong problem-solving skills while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
